“Our new music video for ‘Bullet For Your Sweetheart’ is a bloody, cheesy, wild homage to some of our favorite old horror films. Drawing from films like “Attack of the 50 Foot Woman”, “Psycho”, and even “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, we wanted to create a video that seamlessly traveled through the years from old monster movies to slasher films of the 70s/80s. It’s all a bit Scooby Doo-ish which keeps it light and hilarious even as people are getting ripped apart. But this was probably one of our favorite videos to shoot. There are pieces in color and in black & white, and we got to spend the whole video acting ridiculously scared as we run from a monster of our own creation (literally we made the costume ourselves). So it was a blast, and we think that’s easy to see when you watch the video! It’s fun, it’s scary, it’s ridiculous. It’s perfect for Halloween.” – MAKE OUT MONDAY
MAKE OUT MONDAY aus Los Angeles sind eine Altenative-Pop-Punk-Rock-Band, bestehend aus den Brüdern Jeremy und Zack Shada sowie ihren langjährigen FreundenJohn Spicer und Seth Renken. MAKE OUT MONDAYs eingängige Songs, sorgfältig ausgearbeitete Texte und ansteckende Bühnenpräsenz haben der Band schnell eine treue Anhängerschaft, nicht nur in L.A., sondern weltweit, beschert. Jeremy, der als Voice ActorFinn von der Hit-Serie “Adventure Time” seine Stimme leiht, trat 2014 auf der renommierten San Diego Comic Con auf. Am gleichen Wochenende hatte die Band eine Show im House Of Blues in San Diego angekündigt. Fans stürmten von der Comic Con zur Show, um die Band erstmals zu sehen und waren direkt hin und weg. Über die vergangenen zweieinhalb Jahre hat die Band in ganz Amerika, aber auch in England, Australien, Deutschland und den Philippinen getourt. Bisher spielten sie bereits mit NEW POLITICS und haben mit DMC von RUN DMC gespielt und als Co-Headliner fungiert.
MAKE OUT MONDAY’s aktuelles Album, »Visions of Hollywood«, enthält 11 Songs in der Schnittmenge von Pop Punk über Rock bis Alternative und wurde vom legendären John Fields (SWITCHFOOT, PINK) produziert, weitere Mitarbeit leistete Dan Korneff(PARAMORE, PIERCE THE VEIL).
